Non Profit Healthcare Cybersecurity Organization Replaces Passwords With Frictionless Login Solution

Scottsdale, AZ – December 19, 2017 – The National Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center, (NH-ISAC), a global, member-driven, non-profit that is the Health and Public Health (HPH) sector’s trusted community for sharing cyber and physical security information, has partnered with #NoPasswords identity authentication leader Trusona to replace passwords with frictionless identity authentication as the primary way members log into the NH-ISAC secure portal online.

“The implementation of Trusona’s no passwords authentication aligns with our commitment to protect healthcare organizations against threat actors, said Denise Anderson, President of NH-ISAC. “We simplified identity authentication for our  members, demonstrating there are solutions that are stronger than passwords.”

Trusona replaces the need for static password-based authentication. The solution provides dynamic user authentication with assurance static user credentials can’t be stolen or replayed to imitate an actual member’s login.

“By eliminating passwords, NH-ISAC and its members immediately gain resiliency against sophisticated cyberattacks that prey on passwords, which can be all that stands between sensitive healthcare data and the Internet’s dark actors,” said Ori Eisen, CEO of Trusona. “Sector resilience against security vulnerabilities is mission critical for NH-ISAC whose healthcare members also seek relief from fraud, spoofing and unauthorized access. Today NH-ISAC has sent a loud message that there is a better way to secure identity.”

NH-ISAC’s implementation of Trusona’s #NoPasswords solution was announced and demonstrated for the 500 healthcare security professionals who in November attended the NH-ISAC Fall Summit in Scottsdale, AZ. For more information please visit https://www.trusona.com/nh-isac.
